Bouquets of Roses Delivered to Residents of Mount Sterling, KY
Mount Sterling or Mt. Sterling is located in Montgomery County, Kentucky. The city has a population of more than 7,000 residents. It is the major city of Mount Sterling's micropolitan area. Its name was derived from an ancient burial ground called Little Mountain. The area was named by the first developer Hugh Forbes. Although, an act of the Kentucky assembly in 1792 established the town as Mt. Sterling, it was a misspelling, but it was retained.
The area formed a part of the wilderness of central Kentucky. Hunters, explorers, and surveyors traveled along a popular trail called the Old Harpers Trace; on their journey, they noticed a 125-foot-high tree-covered mound which they named The Little Mountain. When the site was later excavated, it turned out to be a burial place. The mound's location is the current intersection of the Queen and Locust Streets, located in Mt. Sterling.
Also, the first major settlement in the area started to grow in 1790, after Forbes started to sell out lots on the road, now called Locust Street. The town became the county seat for Montgomery County, which was just newly created. A courthouse, jail, and town pump were also installed in the community. The construction of a brick market house for the buying and selling of farm produce cemented the town as a commercial center for the surrounding communities.

It was initially owned by both the Masons and the I.O.O.F, but it later became solely owned by the International Organization of Odd Fellows. The name of the cemetery Machpelah was derived from the bible. Avas Flowers offer a wide range of beautiful flowers that can be delivered to the Machpelah Cemetery for burials, and remembrances.

I ordered a sympathy bouquet for my uncle's funeral. I did not see the flowers myself, but his grand-daughter said they were absolutely beautiful and sent a very sweet Thank You message..
