Saint John Delivery of Fresh Flowers
The town of St. John is located in Lake County, Indiana. It was founded in 1837 with a population of more than 15,000 residents. CNN also ranked the town 48th on its top 100 places to live in the US. The community is also a safe place, according to Movoto real estate, which ranked the community 4th on its list.
The town was named after John Hack one of the original settlers. The town is nationally known for the Shrine of Christ's Passion. It features over forty life-sized statues depicting the time from the Agony in the Garden all the way to the Resurrection. It has attracted visitors from all the states and many different countries.
Education in the Community
St John is under the Lake Central School Corporation, Hanover Community School Corporation, and Crown Point Community School Corporation, and the schools under all the following districts are Lake Central High School, Clark Middle School, and Kolling Elementary School. Another school the Crown Point Christian School is an evangelical school with a parent association as its governing body. Christian High School is an evangelical high school also located within the town; others are Roman Catholic School and the Evangelist Catholic School.
The Lake Central High School is one of the high schools in Saint John for students in grades nine and twelve. Its students come from the town of Schererville, St. John Township, a section of Griffith which is within St. John Township. Lake Central High School is the only high school in the Lake Central School Corporation.
After the communities passed a referendum, Lake Central High School was renovated between 2011 and 2016. The referendum was aimed at building and renovating Protsman Elementary School and Lake Central at close to two hundred million dollars, all the academic areas around the school were also rebuilt, and new facilities for fine art and sports were provided for by the funds raised from the referendum.
