Schools in the City

The city has an elementary school which is located close to the Christian Church in an old house before it was later moved into the church.  The school moved to a three-room building on Clements Road and consisted of the middle room, the little room, and the big room. The three-room school burned down, and patrons constructed another one, and the school moved and used old company buildings for two years. The patrons finally constructed a very nice building on Cottondale Road and made it the permanent site for Cottondale Elementary School.
