There are many reasons residents choose to use Oklahoma florists. Bouquets are needed for anniversaries, weddings and celebrations. They are also used to show one's sympathy, condolences and grieving.

There are three official flower emblems used to represent this state. One is a hybrid variety of tea rose that was named after the state. The others include short lived perennials and the mistletoe plant.

This area is one of the larger states, with many miles of land. Farming is vital to the local economy and agriculture is abundant. Cattle and other livestock are widely raised for meat and breeding.

The capital city is home to the headquarters of many national chains. This creates jobs and business for the nearly 600,000 residents. There are also historic districts and medical centers in the area.

Florists are always in high demand when it comes to wedding bouquets. A number of assortments are necessary, such as bridal and bridesmaid. Pew decorations are also needed when weddings are held in a church.

Anniversaries and romantic occasions are another time to use florist. This may include birthdays and key holidays such as Valentine's Day. Blooms can be created for a unique arrangement or a general bouquet.

Parks and recreation centers can be found in all the major cities. This often includes fountains and other water based structures. There is also a large botanical garden located in the capital city.

The official flower was first created in 1964 in a local university. It is a variation of the hybrid tea rose that has become unique. It was named official in the year 2004 and is exceptionally fragrant.

The mistletoe, called American Mistletoe, is the official emblem. It was adopted in 1893, years before statehood had been granted. This mistletoe species is native to both North America and Mexico.

The wildflower is called Gaillardia pulchella, or Indian Blanket. It is a bright and vibrant flowering plant that can spread rapidly. It is often used for gardens and not often used by Oklahoma florists.
